Please note the following regarding missing an exam

It is compulsory for all students studying General subjects to attend the scheduled external exam.  If you fail to attend your external exam, without applying for an AARA with supporting documentation, you will not receive credit for that subject.  If you cannot attend an external exam due to illness/misadventure, please contact Ms Alys Rankin (arank38@eq.edu.au) , Ms Jade Dutka (jdutk0@eq.edu.au)  or Mrs Allyson Seymour (aseym1@eq.edu.au) immediately.

Students who miss an external exam due to medical circumstances must complete the attached AARA application and medical report.  The medical report must be completed by an independent health professional.  For non-medical circumstances, written evidence from a relevant independent professional or other independent third party such as a social worker, police officer, solicitor, member of the clergy or funeral director is required, in addition to the AARA application. Supporting documentation must cover the date of the assessment for which the application is made. A health professional providing evidence must have examined or treated the student, or have been consulted by the student, in the period from two days before the external assessment to one day after the external assessment.  The AARA application and supporting documentation must be provided to Mrs Seymour no later than 3 days after the missed external assessment.

Catch-up sessions have been scheduled for students who have not yet completed all of their assessment in their Applied or Vocational subjects.  If you have not submitted all Applied or Vocational assessment, you will put your QCE at risk.  When all assessment has been successfully submitted, you will not be required to attend subsequent catch-up sessions.

Tutorials and study groups have been scheduled to support students completing external exams.
